Director
Ian has worked in the retail sector for over thirty years, having worked for companies which include Coles, Safeway, Composite Buyers and Davids Limited (IGA Metcash). He has wide-ranging skills in retail design, design, development, construction documentation and project management for retail development s including supermarkets and liquor outlets. He has designed numerous concepts from small highly complex developments to major shopping centres.
Marcio joined the team in 2005 and has since then been responsible for overall business development, strategic planning, and business oversight. With a deep experience in practice management, Marcio continues to work on TRG’s expansion, making sure business processes and systems, including Finance, Human Resources and Technology can come together in harmony.
Eliza has been with TRG for almost a decade now working as Revit Documenter on various corporate projects. She believes in team work & been involved in training and supporting team members across all TRG Branches. She believes that by sharing knowledge with co-workers, one can contribute to their career development as well as build own portfolio and repertoire. She believes in fairness, love and kindness and lives by the quote ‘The best feeling of happiness is when you’re happy because you’ve made somebody else happy’.

Tony has over 35 years’ experience in the building industry with over 20 years at TRG. He is a specialist in fuel station design including drive-thru retailers and liquor stores. He has a strong focus on master planning, concept design through to construction documentation. When he’s not at work, he is a passionate Western Bulldogs supporter.

Anton joined The Retail Group in 2005 as a Junior Draftsperson. Now, he is an experienced design professional focusing on the retail and the commercial sector of the building industry. Working for and on behalf of National Clients, Developers and national brands. Anton holds an Advanced Dip. of Architectural Building Design and a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics. Anton enjoys the outdoors, sports and catching up with friends over drinks.
Senior Project Leader
Jillian is a graduate of The University of Tasmania (UTAS) in Masters of Architecture. Previous experience in fuel/petrol station designs landed her the role at TRG. Her scope of work involves design, documentation, and coordination with Clients and Consultants. She has a keen eye for detail and aims for perfection in Documentation Drawings. To relax her mind off work Jillian goes to a weekly Pilates class and aims to do a 10km run annually, she has achieved two so far.

Martyn graduated from Architecture and Design at RMIT University and joined TRG in 2006. He has worked on a range of projects including residential, retail and commercial. He uses his 3D modelling and rendering skills to assist TRG on architectural designs, presentation, documentation and marketing. He is passionate about Architecture and the community. He believes well designed buildings and environments can improve quality of life and the surrounding environment. Outside of work he enjoys food, travelling and walking his cat.
Contract Administrator
Charlie is a Master of Architecture Graduate and he is an integral member of the design team. He is enthusiastic about the experience of the end user, and the ways they can be interacted and influenced spatially. Charlie understands how environment, community and planning can work together to form architectural concepts and he helps to transform these concepts into visualisations. Charlie is fluent in both Mandarin and English and he is a passionate pianist in his spare time. He loves watching sports and he is always up for bushwalking.

Since joining TRG in 2016, Ned has developed into a versatile member of the team. With a clear understanding of both Design & Construction, he’s been an integral part of helping link the aspects of 3D modelling into working drawings. From a background in joinery & hardware, Ned carries an eye for detail across the various projects he’s worked on while assisting clients with clarifying finer detail within the scope. Ned has stepped up to coordinate his own projects & provide solid foundations for others to learn from. The Melbourne team enjoys Ned’s infectious laugh.
Michael joined TRG in 2015, in his time with TRG, Michael has worked with Supermarket & Liquor clients on all levels of Documentation. Michael has developed strong relationships with the Clients and is always willing to assist. He is always willing to share his superb Revit skills with his colleagues and is a well-respected member of the team. In his spare time, Michael enjoys hunting, fishing and loving every day.
Romina possesses a Degree in Architecture and graduated from the Masters of Design Innovation and Technology. Since then, she started an amazing adventure in TRG. Her professional experience covers all aspects of an architectural project, from design thinking to construction supervision and project delivery. She is passionate for design, technology, high-end documentation and recently peer coaching. Romina firmly believes that hard work will always pay off. In her spare time, she likes to take online courses, go to the cinema and spend quality time with her loved ones.
After studying Building Design and Technology at Holmesglen Tafe, David first joined TRG in 2007 as a Junior Draftsperson, working on retail projects. After taking some years off to fulfil his love of travel, David returned to TRG at the start of 2017 without missing a beat. With a proficiency in Revit and the desire to learn more, he has established himself as a valuable member of the team. When he’s not working or travelling, he likes to play basketball and have a beer with friends.
Since graduating from UNSW with a Bachelor of Interior Architecture Sonia joined TRG in 2016 as an Architectural Draftsperson. With her passion for design and technical proficiency in Revit she has been able to develop her abilities and has become a respected member of our team in Sydney, primarily working on documentation projects for Woolworths. In her spare time when Sonia isn’t playing a game of ultimate frisbee, she enjoys spending her downtime time watching binge-worthy TV shows while enjoying a glass of wine (or two).

Kristy re-joined TRG in 2019 after an 11 year absence. With over 25 years of experience in projects and administration, Kristy returned as our Projects Planner bringing a wealth of knowledge to all our projects. Described as a born organiser, Kristy tracks our projects from concept through to completion. Kristy enjoys watching movies, walks with her dog, cooking, reading and catching up with friends and family.
